Massimiliano Vannucci

Massimiliano is an architect. In 1995 he found, together with Carlo Baselli, his achitectural firm. With the years he developed his knowledge in the field of furniture, interior design, expositions, shops, constructions and renovations.After officially joining in the care taking of the gallery in collaboration with Lorenzo Cipriani ( cultural association Utopias!) he organized several exhibitions inside and outside of the gallery spaces.

The Vannucci Gallery opens in 1959, a year of great social changes, with the aim of creating in collaboration with artists a new cultural site in Pistoia. Up until 1995, being faithful to its initial goals, the gallery became a place of stimulating dialogue  about arts and culture between artists politicians and citizens whilst also hosting many exhibitions amongst which: Cappellini, Moses Levy, Ernesto Treccani, Aligi Sassu, Primo Conti, Licata, Ottone Rosai, Marino Marini, Emilio Greco, Manfredi, Bruno Cassinari, Telemaco Signorini, Giovanni Michelucci, Gianni Dova, Fernando Melani, Concetto Pozzati, Renato Guttuso, Marc Chagall, Bruno Saetti,  Quinto Martini, Music.

Starting from 1995 the gallery ADDED new cultural events events such as : the promotion of art books, small concerts, poetry reading etc. Additionally, this period also saw a new program focused on artists well known world wide but maintaining local artists for example:Arman; Ruffi, Ranaldi, Daniel Spoerri, Carla Accardi, Umberto Buscioni, Gualtiero Nativi, Dorazio, Bruno Munari, Sanfilippo, Roberto Barni, Mario Ceroli, Giuseppe Chiari.

From  2010, with Massimiliano, the gallery began to center it's activity on contemporary artists and on emerging talents, namely : Massimo Biagi, Fabio De Poli, Jannis Kounellis, Mauro Millenotti, Chiara Rapaccini, Francesco Surdi, Fabrizio Corneli e Antonello Ghezzi.
